HEALTH TRUST INFO

The Miami Beach FOP Health Trust was started in 1990 and is charged with controlling the cost of medical care and supplying the best possible medical coverage for its members, the officers of the Miami Beach Police Department and their families. The Health Trust also oversees the administration of prescription medicine coverage for its members. The officers of the MBPD are also covered by life insurance policies, supervised by the Health Trust. The Miami Beach FOP Health Trust is charged with supplying the best coverage for its members at the most reasonable cost.

Vision Icon Our eye care needs are now being self funded by the Trust. ASI will administer this new benefit along with our general health insurance. By bringing this benefit “in house” we are able to improve the eye care benefit without an increase in costs.
